"Mantis" Floor Lamp
If you prefer your lighting with a modern twist, the "Mantis" could be the lamp for you! Lamps in this style were popular in the mid-century but are nearly impossible to find today. My version is a bit sleeker and more angular than its predecessors, and is rendered in solid brass. If you need a taller lamp than my popular Brasshopper, then the Mantis is the perfect choice!
• Spun brass cone shade
• Shade swivels up and down, and rotates right or left
• On/Off switch at the top of the shade
• Solid brass riser, legs, and feet.
• Vintage-style twisted grey cloth covered cord with a quality polarized repro plug.
• 54" tall, 19" wide, 18" deep.
The Mantis accepts standard household bulbs, 40 watts maximum. LED bulbs strongly recommended as they run cooler. LED is also a good choice if you need more light output. A light bulb is not included with the order unless you are located in California (California orders ship with a CFL bulb.)
